MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE ON THE 1ST OF JANUARY 2023
From the 1st of January 2023, the minimum wage will increase by 1.8 %. The decree should be published in the coming days.
This will impact the eligibility limits for certain professional immigration statuses.

END OF VISA CRISIS BETWEEN FRANCE AND THE MAGHREB
At the end of 2021, France announced a drastic reduction in the number of French visas to be granted to Tunisian, Moroccan and Algerian nationals.
The reason: These Maghreb countries refuse to deliver consular passes allowing for the deportation of their nationals illegally present on French soil.
✅ This retaliatory measure aims to reduce by 50% the number of visas granted to Algerian and Moroccan nationals and by 30% the number of visas granted to Tunisian nationals
✅ Professional immigration statuses have been impacted since early 2022
This end of the year, the French government announced they would lift these restrictions for Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
In 2023, we should get back to normal with the standard application process, without any quotas.
